The Pioneer Valley AFL-CIO was established as part of the parent organization (the national AFL-CIO) and represents members in Hampden County. Their mission is to work on behalf of all working families to foster social and economic justice in our community. They are a founding member of the Pioneer Valley Project and are the most prominent political force in the valley when it comes to implementing and mobilizing for a political candidate. The Pioneer Valley AFL-CIO has created scholarship funds and continues to work with community organizations to build positive economic development and stronger, more vibrant communities.
